Tears That Touch The Heart Of God, Sammy Tippit Ministries

Psalm 56:8, “Thou hast taken account of my wanderings; put my tears in Thy bottle; are {they} not in Thy book?” NAS.

memo

As you search the church history, you’ll find people who have been greatly used of God have been men and women of prayer. They’ve learned to wait in the secret place of prayer allowing God to impart His heart to them. They’ve been people whose hearts have been passionate for the [same] things which God is passionate about.

George Mueller began orphanages for children in Bristol during the 1899s. He trusted God to meet their every need. He never asked for money, but he clothed, housed and fed many thousands of children. Near the end of his life he said that every person for whom he had prayed to come to Christ (with the exception of two), had come to know Christ as his Savior. After Mueller died, those two people also came to a personal knowledge of Christ. Continue reading “Tears That Touch The Heart Of God, Sammy Tippit Ministries”

The Need For The People Of GOD To Pray, Bro. Jose Ocasio

2Chronicles 30:17-20, “17 For there were many in the assembly who had not sanctified themselves; therefore the Levites had charge of the slaughter of the Passover lambs for everyone who was not clean, to sanctify them to the Lord. 18 For a multitude of the people, many from Ephraim, Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet they ate the Passover contrary to what was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, “May the good Lord provide atonement for everyone 19 who prepares his heart to seek God, the Lord God of his fathers, though he is not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary.” 20 And the Lord listened to Hezekiah and healed the people” Continue reading “The Need For The People Of GOD To Pray, Bro. Where Does Your Strength Lie? Evans Olang

Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”.

Looking around, I see so many trees standing, an indication they are alive and growing. Big, tall, thin, young trees are everywhere. Some do bear sweet fruits and some don’t. Many have pleasant looking leaves making them look attractive and yet some don’t. I also see that some do provide shade in hot and sunny seasons. We appreciate trees for many reasons because of the results, what they have turned out to be, but the question is, where does their strength lie? Continue reading “Where Does Your Strength Lie? Pouring Your Heart To The Lord, Evans Olang

1Samuel 1:8-18, “But Hannah answered and said, “No, my lord, I am a woman of sorrowful spirit. I have drunk neither wine nor intoxicating drink, but have poured my soul before the Lord”

People do struggle to pray. You may have struggled numerous times to pray and still got nowhere. And if you prayed, your prayers felt so dry, not effective, and did not even enjoy it. I remember years back when I had the same kind of struggle and God had to teach me to pray effectively changing my whole perspective on prayers and how to approach the throne of grace. Yes I still struggle to pray, the will to is there, the strength and the effectiveness sometimes fail.

I Sought For A Man, Part 2of2, Evans Olang

Ezekiel 22:30, “So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap (intercede) before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one”

An intercessor by definition is person making petitions to God on behalf of another. Also one who pleads on behalf of another or stands in the gap. So I would conclude that an intercessor is not someone who particularly stands in the gap for his own needs but on behalf of someone else. Pleading is hard work, it’s draining however the results are amazing. Continue reading “I Sought For A Man, Part 2of2, Evans Olang”

I Sought For A Man, Part 1of2, Evans Olang

Ezekiel 22:30, “So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap (intercede) before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one”

One of my prayers, “God raise up more prayer warriors to pray like never before and they will also put legs to their prayers and be used by God to reach many“. Continue reading “I Sought For A Man, Part 1of2, Evans Olang”

Matthew 13:24-25, “24 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; 25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.”

In the last message, I mentioned that there are three spheres that affect our prayer lives 1. THE REASON TO PRAY, 2. THE POWER TO PRAY, 3.THE HOW TO PRAY.
