Remember driving down the road on a hot day and seeing the illusion of water on the road created by the heat? Many times our eyes are not actually the reality of truth and if we can be fooled physically, how much more can we be fooled in our spiritual eyesight? Read 2Kings 6:8-18 for the full picture. The Power Of A Map, Pastor Boaz Olang

Hebrews 11:13-16, “These all died in faith, not having received the promise, but having seen them a far off, and were persuaded of them and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly: wherefore God is not a shamed to be called their God: for he has prepared for them a city”

This passage of Scripture refers to the O.T saints who died with the faith that God had something better for them in store. What concerned them most was not when the promises were to be fulfilled but what they had to do in order to receive the promise.
