Trusted Ladder, Sarah Susan

John 1:51, “Jesus then added “I tell you the truth, you will see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man”

How can angels descend and ascend ” ON THE SON OF MAN”

We can see how this happened to a person in a dream, running away due to fear of death, in a very tensed state, Jacob, tired fell asleep on the way and had a dream. Bible states in Genesis 28:12 “He had a dream in which he saw a stairway/ladder resting on the earth, with its top reaching heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. Let’s meditate on this STAIRWAY /ladder… Continue reading “Trusted Ladder, Sarah Susan”

The Outcome Is In His Hands, Evans Olang

Ezekiel 37:1-14, “And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”

It’s easier for me to talk to someone about hope, peace and faith. It’s easier to encourage someone who is going through hard times and even see them coming out of it but when it comes to me facing the same things, I find it hard to encourage myself. Identified With Despised Christ, Part 1of3, Evans Olang

Acts 4:1-22, “13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus”

The Israelites looked forward to the coming of the Messiah, the King of kings. They expected Him to come, overthrow and seat on the throne. Well He came through a teenage girl by virgin birth. He grew up an ordinary life, He was a carpenter, He had no place to lay His head, He rode on a donkey (kings rode on horses and chariots), He spent time with the despised, and Isaiah 53:1-3 tells us,” 1 Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? 2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. 3 He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him” Continue reading “Identified With Despised Christ, Part 1of3, Evans Olang”

The Testimony Of God, Evans Olang

1Corinthians 2:1-2,”1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. 2 For I determined not to know anything among you except JESUS CHRIST AND HIM CRUCIFIED”

I recently listened to a radio program which dealt with what is more important in sharing our faith. On the streets they asked a number of people what they would share, 80-90% said their testimony would be the main thing to share, in other words what God has done for them.  Continue reading “The Testimony Of God, Evans Olang”

The Seeker Is The Savior, Part 1of2, Evans Olang

Luke 19:1-10, vs. 9 “Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

I find it interesting that in Luke 18, Jesus gives a parable of a Pharisee and a tax collector, one proud and the other humble. Not long after, we see Jesus encountering with a rich young ruler (very proud) who went away sad when Jesus talked to him of the first commandment. He said, “Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me“, Luke 18:22.
