2Corinthians 12:9, “And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

I have shared from this scripture before but for the sake of those who are working under pressure, feeling tired, spent and exhausted like me, we need to hear this again. I find it easy at times to quote a scripture and then find it hard to apply it in a situation. Our God is a great God, something we need not to forget. He knows how to battle His enemies in the battlefield. He does not fight according to men’s ways but His. There are days He battles for us and there are days He equips and teaches us to battle. Many times we may not be prepared for the battle but He is. We may be caught unaware, He is always aware. 1Chronicles 13:14, “The ARK of God remained with the family of Obed-Edom in his house three months. And the Lord blessed the house of Obed-Edom and all that he had”

David while he had a high position thought he could do things his way including handling the things of God. Our position should not dictate how we handle the things of God, our obedience through submission is what opens doors for His blessings. We can gain positions without letting positions steal the presence of God by starting in the Spirit and staying in the Spirit regardless of whether we have positions or not. Psalm 23: The Divine Shepherd, 3of6, Evans Olang

Psalm 23:3, “He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake”


A believer has three stages of life, Justification, Sanctification and Glorification. Justification and Glorification are God does for us, Sanctification is what God does in us. Justification means being saved from the Penalty of sin, from the demands of the law (God’s wrath). While sanctification is being saved from the Power of sin. Glorification is being saved from the Presence of sin.
Believers are currently in the stage of sanctification (purification), where God is working in us. It’s the pruning process and the Jeremiah 18 experience in the potter’s house. Read the rest of this entry »
