He Moves Me And Grows Me, Evans Olang

Romans 5:1-20, “3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope”

In order to function effectively as Christians, we constantly need to remind ourselves that we are nomadic people here on earth. God is working on us climbing us from glory to glory.

Romans 5:1 says “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God“, this verse opens the door for us to be saved, the beginning of growth as we move (grow). This is justification which God does for us and none of us have a part in our justification by faith. It’s like we’ve passed an exam we did not sit for and could not pass it on our own regardless of how prepared we were. Because we are justified, we have peace with God meaning the war God had with us through our wicked mind has been settled by Christ on the cross. And The Brook Dried Up, Part 2of2, Evans Olang

1Kings 17:1-7, “6 The ravens brought him bread in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the brook, 7, “And it happened after a while that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land”.

In the midst of the drought, God provided for Elijah and I believe Elijah may have been content and comfortable with God’s provision, however after a while the brook dried up.
