In part 1, we looked at David taking time to personalize what the Lord is to him. He is not reducing or trying to make God in his own way but he understands who the Lord is and how the Lord is his help therefore he calls him “MY …”; He is My strength, My joy, My Hope, My healer, My deliverer, My confidence, My peace, My guide, My light, My redeemer. While most of the devotions I share pertains to preparation, knowing God’s truth and God’s ways which is crucial, I have been prompted to encourage those who feel wounded and left by the road side wondering where is God when you need Him. While I don’t desire for us to be consumed with the acts of God like the Israelites that went by feeling, I hope you are encouraged as these few devotions come to you as reminders. My Redeemer Lives, By Evans Olang

Job 19:25, “For I know that my Redeemer lives; And He shall stand at the last on the earth”

We need to be aware of is that as we walk with God we are reminded that He owes us nothing. I know of people who walk and talk as though God owes them something, it’s like they gave God something to keep, or they did God a favor and now God owes them and should pay them back.
