Job 19:25, “For I know that my Redeemer lives; And He shall stand at the last on the earth”

We need to be aware of is that as we walk with God we are reminded that He owes us nothing. I know of people who walk and talk as though God owes them something, it’s like they gave God something to keep, or they did God a favor and now God owes them and should pay them back. Resting in the Midst of Trouble,Pastor Phil Sessa

Acts 12:5-6, “Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church. And when Herod was about to bring him out, that night Peter was sleeping, bound with two chains between two soldiers; and the guards before the door were keeping the prison.”  

Times of adversity have a way of testing our faith.  What do you do when adversity strikes?  Do you run away, pray, complain, and become depressed?  The gospel message that is preached by many at this time is this, “God has a wonderful plan for your life.”   Read the rest of this entry »
