God And Sinners Reconciled, Pastor Phil Sessa

2Corinthians 5:20, “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.”

Merry CHRISTmas! I love saying that. We live in an age where the world wants us to be culturally tolerant, and politically correct. All other religious “holidays” are not really holidays if we agree that the word holiday is really the word HOLY DAY. How is Kwanza, or Ramadan holy? Kwanza does not focus on Christ, because the focus is on culture and man not on Christ the Lord.

Sowing and Reaping, Pastor Phil Sessa

Mark 6:40–43, “So they sat down in ranks, in hundreds and in fifties. And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among them all. So they all ate and were filled. And they took up twelve baskets full of fragments and of the fish.”

Lord Provide A Way, Evans Olang

Matthew 17:27, “….go to the sea, cast in a hook, and take the fish that comes up first. And when you have opened its mouth, you will find a piece of money; take that and give it to them for Me and you.”

I hate being in debt, and I believe everyone does too. I do not like owing anyone, Romans 13:8, says, “Owe no man any thing, but to love one another:” To me this is a clear indication that even God hates to see His children in debt. That is why he had to do something about our sin debt, the reason we pray Matthew 6:12, “Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors”(NIV). Read the rest of this entry »

Fishing Jesus’ Way, Pastor Phil Sessa

John 21:4-6, “Jn 4 Early in the morning, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not realize that it was Jesus. Jn 21:5 He called out to them, “Friends, haven’t you any fish?” “No,” they answered. Jn 21:6 He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish” Anyone can do a job or task for a little while, but to do it daily and consistently now there’s a challenge. When Jesus first started to call his disciples he interrupted their lives and he called the two sets of brothers and would make them fishers of men. Read the rest of this entry »
