The tongue has landed so many people into trouble. As much as what people do destroy, what people say can do even a greater damage and it’s because what has been done may quickly heal unlike what has been said stays in the memory. Psalm 122:1, “I was glad when they said unto me, “Let us go into the house of the Lord”.

In our time a good number of people take the work and the word of the Lord lightly. People who would rather do something else on the Lord’s day than be somewhere worshipping God. There are some who believe they can handle things themselves.

There is something about being in the house of God nothing can replace. The bible says, “do not forsake the assembly of brethren”. We are the temple of the living God and collectively we make the body (church) complete. The body has different parts and each parts do not function the same way. The hands cannot tell the legs I do not need you, neither can the eye tell the nose I do not need you. They all have different functions but they need each other to be complete.
