Isaiah 60:1, “Arise, shine; For your light has come! and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you”
Three key things to share with us are on the scripture introduced above. When we get saved, it is like a new born baby. The birth of he baby is not the end but the beginning. Often times those some who have been in Christ for a while tend to lose the fire and become regular people meaning everything else is normal. No zeal to grow, no zeal to witness, no zeal to pray effectively, or zeal to even read the word with passion. It’s very easy to lose fruits without knowing, we need to therefore constantly do spiritual evaluation to see where we are. I know of people who used to talk about the Lord strongly, they had such a joy and enthusiasm but something somewhere happened and the zeal began to fade away only to be left with a form of godliness and deny the power.
